Every SME needs a phone and email box for their employees. Most of the time, this means investing in a telephone switchboard (PBX) and a mail server. Com@work provides these services in the cloud.

Project description

With more and more low cost players entering the PBX market, traditional vendors need to look for alternative sources of revenue. When Siemens Communications asked us to take a look at the SME market, we proposed to use the existing technology in a new, service-driven, business model.
A new proposal was drafted together with the Business division that brought in Microsoft Hosted Exchange services. Together with a hosted PBX and VoIP technology, the proposal was tested in the market together with the operator Versatel. After commercial and technical trials, the product was taken up as part of the portfolio and brought to market through indirect sales channels.

Project result

Com@work opened up a segment of the market that was previously unaccessible. It brought in recurring service business and prepared the company for growth in cloud based services / SaaS.
